Step by step through the Home Owners survey process…

There are three steps to the process:
Step 1 » Feasibility Assessment: once you have satisfactorily assessed whether it is feasible for you to install a GSHP (by reading our eligibility criteria), agreed the Terms and Conditions and paid £288 (incl. VAT) by credit card, we will ask you to fill in an assessment form for your property (we can provide phone assistance on 01273 699399) a consultant will take the answers in the form, a feasibility assessment and produce a report with indicative pricings. If we find that there are additional retrofit works that need to be applied to your house we can refer you to our partners in Travis Perkins to support you with these requirements. If on receipt of the assessment you still want to go ahead we will move on to step 2.
Step 2 » Site Visit: in order to ensure that any implementation goes smoothly and that there are not any unforeseen built environment hazards which could jeopardise the installation, we will arrange a visit to inspect the property both internally and externally. We will require a payment of between £550 and £1500 for the site visit. Typically we are checking for any issues with access, utilities hazards, whether there will be disturbance to the garden etc. We will also perform an inspection of the house itself to ensure that there is nothing that would prevent the heat pump being installed – required space can sometimes be an issue. We will then produce a report of the proposed implementation that details how we are going to do the work, whether access needs to be made and a finalised set of prices. If you still want to proceed we will move on to step 3.
Step 3 » Implementation: we will co-ordinate the internal and external work, engaging and managing the different suppliers so that you don’t have to worry about this. Payment will be received in stage payments arranged when the final prices are produced. Our project manager will be on-site overseeing the drilling and co-ordinating the works. At the end of the project the project manager will ensure that the system is tested and perform a formal handover of the system to you. Once we have demonstrated that we have delivered the system to your specification and it is in working order, we will get you to sign the client acceptance form and the process will be complete.
